Candle Bible for Toddlers

If you’re looking for a Bible for young children ages birth-4yrs, I would check this book out! It’s pictures are colorful and engaging, while the stories strike the perfect balance between easy listening for babies but complex enough for older kids. This is one of my favorite children’s Bibles for young children.

Playtime Devotions

Now that my youngest is 1 yr old, I’ve  pulled this children’s devotional out again. It’s my favorite first devotional because each day has a Bible verse, song, and a short prayer. It’s short enough and active enough to keep the attention of babies, while introducing them to the Bible as a very young age. Love it!

100 Bible Heroes 100 Bible Songs

My boys and I love this book! Every entry comes with a short verse, and summary of the hero’s story, and a song. Sometimes we use the verse as our memory verse for several weeks. It’s great because the song helps to reinforce the verse we’re learning. I also love how my boys who really look up to super heroes can learn about Bible heroes and how to be like them. Win-win!

Pray and Play Bibles

I really love these Bibles for my young children! They have the typical Bible stories, but after each story they include songs and activities to help your children remember what they learned. If you’re looking for a fun Bible with many good activities to keep your little ones busy, this Bibles are a great place to start.

Read with Me Bible

We just received this Bible as a gift and are really enjoying using it during our breakfast time devotions. The pictures are well done and interesting and the text is taken directly from the New International Reader’s Version, so they are getting actual Bible text and not just someone’s summary of the story.

Youversion Kids app

Youversion has developed an App for kids that reads them popular Bible stories, allows them to interact with the pictures, and lets them earn prizes along the way. My boys love this app! The graphics are well done and the interactive pictures are a lot of fun. Best of all it’s FREE!
